Functional medicine is a way of looking at the biomarkers of traditional western medicine within a “functional range” rather than what is traditionally considered “normal.” By narrowing down the “normal” range of lab values and expanding the number of biomarkers we look at, we’re able to spot problems before they become more serious or difficult to treat. For example, there are ten different markers related to thyroid function that are necessary to understanding how to properly support thyroid health, but many traditional doctors only order two of those tests. What is Nutrition Response Testing?
We are energetic beings. Along with our nervous system and circulatory system, we have an energetic system. When there is a disruption in this energy system, the flow of energy is blocked and can cause a variety of symptoms.
Nutrition Response Testing is a simple, non-invasive method that allows us to analyze your body’s responses to energy to determine the underlying causes of illness. Using applied kinesiology to challenge the energetic frequency of different substances against the body, we can determine if that substance is a significant source of interference to that individual. The goal is to correct the issue or minimize symptoms through safe, natural, nutritional means—allowing the body to heal itself.
What is a Bionetic Scan?
Bionetic scanning is done with a computer and testing equipment. Just like Nutrition Response Testing, an individual is tested by challenging frequencies to the body. Dr. Childress uses SpectraVision BioBalance Software and Technology to scan your body’s energy frequencies using bio-resonance. It then provides a detailed and customized wellness report and solutions-based therapies to address health issues.
During a scan, you’ll be asked to hold onto part of the SpectraVision system containing electrodes. By passing light electrical frequencies through the skin, we’re able to measures your body’s reaction to natural energy signatures of a variety of health items—each of which your body will have natural energetic reactions to.
